After working with many, many buyers I realized that getting clarity about your needs and wants is very important.  There are some things we can live with when buying a home and other things that just won’t cut it.

When we bought our home, we settled in some areas. For example, our yard is small and it is mostly cement and rock but we live close to fields, the school, within walking distance of the brewery, cafe, and restaurants and we knew that this was more important to us then having a big yard.

If we hadn’t have dug in and had discussions about our needs and wants firsts, we may have bought the house with a big yard but we would have also felt trapped not being able to walk to places easily.  I know we are weird; most people would prefer that big yard!

It is important to become savvy, working out your needs vs wants, thinking about your major deal breakers and thinking about what you will be ok compromising on when looking for Frederick CO Homes for Sale.

My beginner process with my buyers helps us all get clarity around this so that when we are out looking at homes.
