Hello! Today, we are talking Frederick CO weather. If you got here by looking at Frederick County or Frederick in another area of the USA, you are in the wrong place. So let’s start with winter because it is winter outside my window right now. So today we are in the twenties range, but our average here in January is in the mid-forties. So it’s not too bad. It does snow here, and snow can start as early as September, usually October, and go through April and sometimes into May. They say not to plant till after Mother’s Day here, which means our growing season is pretty short. So if you are a gardener that loves to have a big, abundant garden, maybe Denver and the surrounding areas is not for you. When it comes to summer here, our average high in July is 98

When it comes to Frederick CO weather, it feels a little less hot here than other areas of the United States I have lived in, because we have dry air. So you can jump in the shade and cool off. As you can imagine with snow starting early, sometimes fall seems very short. Sometimes that hot weather will last through to September, and then it will snow in mid-October but we do have beautiful colors here. You can go up into the mountains and see the beautiful golds and reds and then wait it out and see it all over again along the front range. Fall is a beautiful time here. In Spring, we’re looking at averages in April of about 65 degrees. So it does heat up, even though some days we will have snow as well, but that snow melts fast and we get warmer weather again.

Overall, I think the weather here is pretty great. I lived in St. Louis before, I really didn’t love that weather. Here the weather is more then tolerable!

I will tell you, I love living in Frederick, Colorado.
